Those anesthetic masks are specifically designed to fit most stereotaxic frame. They are locked onto the adaptor with the cone opening toward the open "U". The animal's teeth is placed over the incisor bar.
This kind of mask is called "passive", for passive scavenging, with collinear inlet and outlet. It cannot be used with our gas evacuation apparatus by active suction of residual gases but only with gas filter canisters.
