Those cone masks are made of transparent acrylic. The diaphragm of these masks allows adjustment around the muzzle of animals and ensures a fair fit. They also have an inlet tubing inside that allow the animal anesthesia exhaust gas to be absorbed by gas filter canister. This eliminates potential anesthetic gas leaks in the room.
